Toronto moments

On our way to Taste of the Danforth last night, we spent a wee bit of time in traffic – there were so many events on including a Blue Jays game. Had some moments to take a few shots from the car.

One of my favourite parts of our garden are the Hydrangea. They seem to be the best colour our garden has offered this year, other than our rhododendrons. A well established perennial shade garden has to work hard to produce some colour other than dark green!

Mission accomplished!

Back in June, my hubby and his buddy Eric completed the Ride To Conquer Cancer, Ontario. On the day they arrived back in Toronto, it was hot and exceptionally sunny. I just kept clicking away and later discovered that I had gotten this shot of Eric as he came into the finish. I used this photo on my writing blog for a discussion on enthusiasm, as that is what I see on Eric’s face. Hopefully next June, when I cross the finish line, I’ll have the energy to smile this big!
